VizChitra is a community of data visualization practitioners in India, bringing together designers, developers, journalists, academicians, researchers and more. After a stellar first edition in 2025 that brought together 300+ people, we're back with VizChitra 2026 — on 3 and 4 July 2026 in Bangalore.

We need more hands (and minds!) to help bring this conference to life — from logistics and on-ground coordination to community mobilization. Come join this quirky group and experience community and collectivism, up close. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so the sooner you apply, the better. Registration & Ushering - Handling check-in of attendees, Making announcements and help in moving attendees in/out of the halls.

B

Emcee - Anchor the event flow within the hall by making speaker/ session intros, facilitate audience engagement and Q&A, hygiene/transition announcements, etc.

C

Hall Management - Ensure smooth event flow within the hall by ensuring presenter co-ordination, presentation tech-check and transitions, etc.

D

AV Console Management - Supporting with Audio-Visual/Tech within the hall, including AV/Tech setup at start of event, ensuring successful Livestream capture and smooth tech transitions between presenters, etc.

E

Live stream monitors (Remote) - Watching the live stream and updating the AV crew if the video/audio feed goes down in the hall Livestream

F

Production - Support the Conference Manager with venue setup/pack-up, vendor management and sponsor coordination on the conference day
